For Next Class
- Have Final ready to share on Thursday, make sure it is live on your Homepage.
- Remember, you will still have a week after our final presentations to continue working on and finalizing your final project if you would like. We can consider the final presentation as one last in-progress critique. But, you should aim to have the project mostly done or in a place that will elicit the feedback you are looking for.
Thursday, 12/4
- Prior to sharing:
- Make sure your final project is published and accessible online.
- Post the link to your Final project in your own Final discord channel. If you are unable to get it online for whatever reason, add screenshots or a screen recording.
- Feel free to request any specific feedback you're looking for here as well.
- Share Final
- We'll limit comments to just a few per presentation so we can make sure to see everyone's work.
- After presentations, I will assign everyone to smaller feedback groups and we'll say our goodbyes. Once we break, spend some more time with your group members' sites on your own and leave detailed feedback on their respective Final discord channel.
- For presentations:
- Share your final website however you want!
- Ask for specific feedback if you want to.
- If the site is not finished, articulate where you expect/want it to go with more time.
- Share technical struggles and solutions.
- Share cool things you learned while working on it.
- For feedback:
- Spend a bit of time with each of your group members' sites. Treat them like websites you might have come across while browsing the web.
- Try to respond to any specific feedback that was requested.
- Ask yourself what the website is trying to do and respond to that. What is the site doing that aids in this effect? What is it doing that seems to distract from its intent?
- If you have feedback to give for anyone outside of your group, please do so as well!
For the End of Class
- Final work due on Friday, December 12. Make sure everything is published on your Homepage.
I'll be looking for:
- passion (2 variations)
- structure
- screensaver
- control
- final
